Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything! The last few months have been pretty busy……….I’ve had some good gigs with my band and was part of the band for the TV show Tonight’s The Night on BBC 1 hosted by John Barrowman. The whole series was filmed in Glasgow, so a lot of travelling was involved although I think we all had a lot of fun too……well I certainly did, what a great bunch of people to work and hang out with! The band was MD’d by Matt Brind (although TV MD legend Ray Monk covered a few shows). Apart from backing John each week we also got to back a few other artists over the course of the series, these included….Michael Bolton, Dionne Warwick, Lesley Garrett, Kerry Ellis, Paloma Faith, Aleisha Dixon and Jodie Prenger. Oh….I also got to meet Brian May when he came on to play with Kerry Ellis, sadly the band didn’t get to back him! I think there’s still a few more shows to be shown…..BBC1 saturdays evenings about 7.30pm!
